Queen Excluder - Plastic

A metal queen excluder can be placed between the top brood box and lowest honey super. The spaces in the grating are large enough to allow worker bees to maintain movement throughout the hive. However, the spaces are too small to allow the queen to leave the brood boxes, preventing any brood from being created in the honey supers.
