Eyelets are required to fill the small holes in the wooden frame end bars. Used for assembling wax foundation frames, the eylets prevent the horizontal wires from cutting into the wood of the frame. Usually eyelets are placed with a punch which makes insertion into the frame holes quick and easy. Wiring the wooden frame prior to embedding the wax foundation helps prevent it from sagging. This 1/2oz package is approximately 150 eyelets.
